ISDH ๐ฐ๐ท ร ISIPCA ๐ซ๐ท ร Naami Scents ๐ฎ๐ฉ
A collaborative perfume class combining online and offline sessions.
This special class brought together educators and students from different parts of the world, blending theory, history, and handsโon practice into one meaningful learning experience.
Day 1 focused on the History of Perfumery with Elisabeth de Feydeau, a teacher from ISIPCA ๐ซ๐ท, who shared beautiful insights into the heritage and evolution of fragrance.
Day 2 was all about Ingredients and Molecular Layering with Seo Jiwoo, Director of ISDH ๐ฐ๐ท. This session gave students a deeper understanding of how raw materials and molecules work together to build a perfume.
Day 3 explored raw materials and olfactory training with Sandrine Perraud, a teacher from ISIPCA ๐ซ๐ท, helping students sharpen their noses and better understand scent structure.
Day 4 was my turn to teach offline, handsโon with the students. We worked closely on practical formulation, from recreating Santal 33, to compounding each studentโs own scent and developing five finished products from their creations. Seeing their ideas come to life was incredibly rewarding.
Iโm deeply grateful to be chosen as the ISDH Indonesia representative for this collaborative class and to be trusted as one of the instructors alongside such inspiring teachers. This truly means so much to me in my teaching journey, and I donโt take it lightly.
Iโm also incredibly thankful to all the students. Online learning isnโt always easy, but everyone showed dedication, curiosity, and creativity. Iโll always be here to support and guide each student so they can learn and grow with confidence. Knowing that they genuinely enjoyed the class makes everything even more meaningful to me.
This collaboration was a beautiful reminder of why I love teaching perfumeryโsharing knowledge, creating together, and growing as a community across cultures and borders.
